Wine and cocktails are all fine and dandy, but there's just something about sitting around a table, campfire, upturned bucket, etc having a beer or two (or three or four) with good friends. The walls go down, the conversations get deep, and everyone leans in. All sense of time disappears. The connection between souls is palpable in the air, and for just a little while the anxiety and pressures of the day are forgotten. Could this be the natural progression of good friends coming together? Sure. But the buzz sure doesn't hurt.
